Free COVID-19 Testing for Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) Staff and Residents

Introduction/Registration

The Texas Division of Emergency Management, in partnership with Texas Health & Human Services, has contracted with Omnicare to administer COVID-19 tests in assisted living facilities for both staff and residents.

Omnicare is providing point-of-care testing at no charge to the facility. Most results are provided to the facility within 24 to 48 hours.

Please provide the requested information and it will be submitted to Omnicare.  HHSC submits all testing requests at the end of each week to Omnicare. The following week Omnicare will contact you to schedule your facility's COVID-19 testing. They will provide more details about the process at that time.
