The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako (RDBN) is developing a Parks and Trails Master Plan for Electoral Area G (Houston/Granisle Rural) guiding the planning and management of parks and trail services. The plan will reflect the unique character, culture, and geography of the region while building on the strengths of existing outdoor recreation service providers. The Master Plan will:
  • Clarify the Regional District’s role in providing parks and trails services;
  • Establish a clear community vision and goals for parks and trails; and,
  • Recommend key actions to meet current and future needs.
The RDBN and consulting team have developed the Draft Plan based on community input and analysis of the current parks, trails, and outdoor recreation opportunities. The following survey asks for your feedback on the Draft Parks and Trails Master Plan’s vision, goals, and recommendations to help shape the future of parks and trails in Electoral Area G. The results of this survey will influence the final recommendations and priorities for the next 10 years.
