Your input is important!

Background
The Triangle Club’s building lease at our current location (2030 P Street NW) is scheduled for renewal on December 31, 2020. Due to this and other concerns regarding the adequacy of the building, this survey seeks input from members and others who attend 12-Step meetings at the Triangle Club.

The Future Visions Committee was created by the Board of Directors of the Triangle Club to survey the needs and desires of the Triangle Club Recovery Community regarding their physical space. This survey will assist in developing priorities for a possible new location for the Club, if a new location is ever needed or wanted. It will help us better understand what is most important to our recovery community.

Triangle Club currently has the following
  • 3 Meeting rooms (small room - 10-15 people, medium - 30 people, large - 50 people)
  • 3 flights of stairs to 2nd and 3rd floors (no elevator; non ADA-compliant)
  • Kitchen [sink, cabinets; no refrigerator, no freezer, no dishwasher (due to inadequate electrical support)]
  • Patio (outdoor space, two large, portable BBQs, outdoor furniture)
  • 1 Unisex bathroom
  • Office
Guiding Principles
  • Maintain the Triangle Club as an LGBT-focused Recovery Club House in D.C.
  • Seek to obtain ADA-compliant space to increase access for our mobility impaired members
  • Work to ensure the long-term stability and viability of the Club going forward
