Tri-County Community College is exploring the possibility of starting several new programs of study in the following areas: (1). Electrical Engineering Technology, (2). Phlebotomy (Certificate), (3). Pharmacy Technology, and (4). Sustainability Technologies.

Below is a very short description of these programs.
• The Electrical Engineering Technology curriculum is designed to provide training for a career in electrical maintenance and management or in the design, planning, construction, development, and installation of electrical systems, machines, and power generating equipment,
• The Phlebotomy curriculum prepares individuals to obtain blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis,
• The Pharmacy Technology Program prepares individuals to assist the pharmacist in duties that a technician can legally perform, including preparing prescription medications, mixing intravenous solutions and other specialized medications, updating patient profiles, maintaining inventories, packaging medications in unit-dose or med-card form, and gathering data used by pharmacists to monitor drug therapy,
• The Sustainability Technologies curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for employment in environmental, construction, alternative energy, manufacturing, or related industries, where key emphasis is placed on energy production and waste reduction.
