Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg is gathering information from the community for consideration in the update of the installation’s Community Involvement Plan for their environmental cleanup program. Your input is critical to the ongoing environmental cleanup effort. A number of sites have been identified where historical releases of hazardous substances have occurred. Navy personnel have been working closely with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) to investigate and restore these sites.

This effort requires a commitment to the community through continuous community involvement and engagement.
