Thank you for your interest in the 2026 NASBLA Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) Leadership Academy, taking place from May 31 - June 4, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky. This Academy aims to develop the next generation of leaders in RBS, offering participants immersive, collaborative learning experiences alongside peers and industry experts.
Designed for new state Boating Law Administrators (BLAs) and other leaders, the Academy equips participants with the skills, insights, and connections necessary to lead effectively within their state, NASBLA, and the national RBS community. Applicants will be considered based on a variety of factors, including whether you are a new BLA, the number of applicants from your state or agency (we strive to limit attendance to no more than two attendees per state or agency to ensure a diverse audience), and the date of application submission.
