Proposals are now being accepted for presentations, panel discussions and workshops for this year's annual conference theme. Our theme is "Race to the Future." There are 3 tracks to choose from:
Track 1- Jockeying for positioning - Works in progress, professional development, work/life balance, grant writing/how to apply, finance basics, managing mental health, wellness, hiring, managing, etc.
Track 2- Hands Down - Victorious programs/partnerships, best practices, Hot Topics, Current Trends, Effective strategies, Opportunities, selecting 3rd party partnerships, working with special populations, achieving success with micro-credentials, anything data related, etc.
Track 3- Down to the Wire - Looking Forward/anything that is forward thinking- working on more with less regarding budgets, unplanned secession, TAP for Workforce, Future of Cannabis or other specialized markets, Clean Energy, Challenges in CE, etc.
Individual and group submissions are encouraged. All presentations should be no longer than 50-55 minutes (including time for Q&A). All submissions are accepted online and will be peer reviewed for acceptance for this year's conference.
Presenter requirements: ● Presenters must have demonstrated expertise in their subject area and be prepared to teach and challenge conference attendees. ● Presenters must share presentation slides for distribution to attendees and CEANY members ● All presenters must register for the CEANY 2024 Conference.
Session requirements: ● Sessions will be offered in a 60 minute format with a 15 minute break between sessions. Sessions should be dynamic, interactive, and action-oriented. Ideally, all participants can transform newly acquired knowledge into action. ● We recommend sessions have an interactive activity to engage the audience. ● Telling the story about what the presenter’s campus is doing is important, but it is also important to be able to extract lessons learned so attendees know how to apply what they’ve heard- a “how to” piece of the session is helpful.
Please answer all questions and submit your conference proposal by June 28, 2024.
