Introduction

Welcome to the second part of our 2016 GRC Institute Annual Salary Survey.

This survey is an important tool for our members to gauge their salary, responsibilities and the state of the market each year. It also assists the GRC Institute's understanding of how our members are valued and rewarded in their organisations and we use this information to analyse and use in our forward planning for the training, advocacy and resources we feel our members need to develop their careers and expand their earning potential.

There are a number of questions which help us observe trends related to salary, staffing and training, however, due to the number of complaints received in the past we have had to split the survey over three blocks which you can opt in and out of. This is the second part of three parts to the survey in its entirety and we hope you can participate in all three parts to assist us with collating data across all of the questions as well as comparing with previous years' data.

This section is dedicated to team and group resourcing to get a picture of how GRC teams are supported by their organisations.

We are also working with our partner organisations within IFCA (the International Federation of Compliance Associations) to share results (NOT raw data or anyone's identities) to be able to collate international trends. They will be adopting most of the questions used in our survey for their 2016 - 2017 surveys they may undertake and we look forward to being able to pass back some observations from an international perspective as well as our own results now.
