Making & Donating Cat Cozy Blankets

Thanks for your interest in making and donating cat blankets (and/or "cat condo" curtains) for RASKC's feline residents!


If you would like to receive community-service credit, it would be important to contact Sarah L about scheduling your time to deliver the items to her: Sarah.Luthens@kingcounty.gov; texts welcome at 206-225-4899. Please note: Sarah L does not work on Fridays or Sundays).

  • RASKC credits one hour for each cat blanket that is made and donated only if the delivery is scheduled in advance with Sarah L.
  • RASKC credits two hours for each "cat condo" curtain that is made and donated only if the delivery is scheduled in advance with Sarah L.
  • Deliveries are never available on Fridays or Sundays.

If you make cat blankets, it's important that you use only fleece (and not any other type of material, so not cotton!). Here's a link to the desired dimensions and a sample photo. Here's a link to a training video.

If you make "cat condo" curtains, the material must be lightweight. Cotton is okay! Here's a link to the desired dimensions and sample photos.
