Digital Poster Presentations

Posters related to anesthesia are requested from members completing their Master's and Doctoral programs for presenting at the 2026 TxANA Annual Convention, September 11-13 in San Antonio, TX. CRNAs not completing a program, but wishing to present, may also participate. Submissions are anticipated to reflect a wide range of practice-related issues, including innovations and service delivery.

The deadline to apply is August 1, 2026.

Accepted presenters will be required to:
  • Set up the digital presentation, which includes ensuring your file is submitted and ready before the start of the meeting at 8:00 a.m., Friday, September 11th. Files my be emailed to Marilyn@TxANA.org.
  • Presentations will be displayed on a digital screen. Your slides must be formatted in a 16:9 widescreen format. No physical materials, boards, or free-standing equipment are permitted.
    • Presentation files must be submitted in advance in the designated format. Neither TxANA nor the hotel will be held responsible for presentation files or materials displayed. Presenters are responsible for submitting and managing their digital files.
  • Prepare a digital slide and 10-minute presentation to be shared at the Annual Awards Celebration.
  • Attend the entire meeting and be ready to present at a preassigned time to discuss research and answer questions. Accepted presenters will be given a complimentary registration to the meeting. Travel costs will not be reimbursed.
Tips for Preparing the Digital Presentation:
  • Follow the format.
  • The title should be short and attention-grabbing. It should be readable on screen from across the room.
  • Use a font size large enough to ensure easy readability on a digital display.
  • Allow for plenty of white space throughout the slides to avoid a cluttered appearance.
  • Slides should contain highlights of the project.
  • Various illustrations, including figures, tables, graphs, drawings, photographs, etc., can be used.
  • Keep the presentation professional.
  • Use high-resolution images and graphics to ensure clarity on a digital screen.
  • Limit the use of busy backgrounds or distracting animations that may detract from the content.
