ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Masters preferred)
-Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario.
-Demonstrated progressive leadership skills with 3 years previous management experience within a clinical setting.
-Minimum 5 years previous Nursing experience in a Women & Children's setting
-Participation on various hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
-Experience in project management and utilization of data to guide resource allocation and quality improvement initiatives
-Provides leadership in the application of nursing knowledge to nursing staff and Interprofessional
Team.
-Demonstrated advanced knowledge and application of CNO Guidelines and Standards of Practice
-RNAO membership preferred.
-Satisfactory attendance.

-Excellent Knowledge of clinical best practices for obstetrics, paediatrics and special care nursery and the ability to provide effective leadership
