Introduction
This survey has been developed by the towns of Washington, Warren, and Kent in collaboration with Terra Vigilis Environmental Services (TVES) to better understand lake use activity in our community. We are gathering information on how people use the lake, how people understand efforts to protect and manage the waters of Lake Waramaug, and finally to assess concerns for large wave enhancing vessels and devices currently being used on the lake.
You are receiving this survey because you are a resident of Washington, Warren, or Kent, all of which are communities who enjoy the benefits of having a clean water resource in your town.
The survey will likely take you about 5-10 minutes to complete. Your individual responses will be protected to preserve anonymity. The results of the survey will be analyzed and a final report will be prepared and made available to all town and lake residents in the first quarter of 2024.
The information being sought is specific to a mission of protecting our beautiful waters for all to enjoy. Please take the time to participate responsibly in this project. If your household wishes to submit more than one survey, please use a separate computer, tablet, or smartphone.
