The MCFN invites you to participate in the “MCFN Community Survey on Public Safety and Law Enforcement”. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes of your time and your responses are completely confidential. Your participation will help us identify and address current/ongoing safety concerns within our territory, current/ongoing concerns regarding our Enforcement Body, and the approach MCFN should take to enhance community safety.
MCFN appreciates your participation, members that complete the survey will be entered into a draw for a $100.00 gift card for Walmart.
The Governance Committee is working on developing a community safety program such as a “community watch” type program to enhance community safety and serve the needs of the MCFN based on the objectives of healing, reconciliation, and re-establishment of the balance of the community, in situations where the peace and harmony of the community was disrupted, while being responsive to the traditions and social circumstances of the MCFN.
MCFN is seeking community members input to assist with the structure and operation of the community safety program (Peacekeepers). The Peacekeepers program will consist of a Restorative Justice Program and an Enhanced Community Watch Program that will assist members with dispute resolution and crisis management, and monitoring of the community.
