Welcome

The Rural Municipalities of Piney and Stuartburn are looking to better ourselves as a whole area by focusing on the development of tourism for our region.  The objective of this survey is to collect public information that will be used for the delivery of a regional tourism strategy and implementation plan for the municipalities.

We appreciate your cooperation in assisting to achieve our tourism goals by completing this document. 
 
Definitions:
 
The Region:  The combined Rural Municipalities of Piney and Stuartburn and all towns, villages, or parcels of land within.
 
Resident:  A person whose primary residence (own/rent) is within The Region.
 
Non-Resident:  A person who owns/rents property within The Region and whose primary address is outside of this Region.
 
Secondary Residence:  Cottage/dwelling or land that you own/use for recreational or leisure purposes, or you own a piece of land that you plan to develop in the future that is not your primary residence.
 
Public Consultations:
 
Public consultations will take place at the following dates and locations at which time you will have the opportunity to expand on your answers and bring forward any ideas or comments you may have.
 
*January 25, 2016  Public meeting in Woodridge at 7:00 pm at the Woodridge Community Hall
*January 27, 2016 Public meeting in Vita at 7:00 pm at the Vita Community Hall
*February 2, 2016 Public  meeting in Sprague at 7:00 pm at the Sprague Evergreen Seniors Club
