We want to know what you think!

The ACA, in collaboration with the Regional Architecture Association (RAA), is preparing a comprehensive submission outlining suggested improvements to the Design and Building Practitioners (DPB) Act and the NSW Planning Portal's functionality.

To strengthen our submission, we're seeking input from the architectural community on both to the Act and the Portal. Each organisation is separately surveying its members to gather feedback and then prepare joint submissions to NSW Government agencies.

We'd appreciate your feedback on:
  • What aspects of the DPB Act are working well
  • What improvements you'd like to see to the Act
  • What you find effective about the NSW Planning Portal
  • How the Portal's functionality could be enhanced

Your insights and suggestions for improvement will help us build a compelling case for meaningful reform. We're committed to advocating on your behalf for improved industry practices and stronger consumer protection.

Should you wish to provide more detail than this format allows, please email nswact@aca.org.au.
