Welcome to the 2024 BPA Nominations Submission Process!

Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to the nomination process for the 2024 Business Pride Awards! These Awards were established to recognize the contributions to the LGBTQIA community made by small businesses, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders in building a more diverse and inclusive business community. We invite you to write-in your nominations for the categories below.

Please be familiar with the rules and regulations:
If you wish to not nominate within a category, please use N/A within the field or leave blank.

Only one nomination form will be accepted per email.

WHEN CONSIDERING YOUR NOMINATIONS... The Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce’s Business Pride Awards celebrates member companies and business leaders committed to fostering an inclusive business community that promotes economic inclusion.

We encourage you to nominate organizations or individuals (where applicable) who demonstrate high-quality standards in their field, promote an inclusive work environment, and proudly support the LGBTQ+ community.

Any notes you add as to why you are nominating this person/organization may be used to introduce the winner at the awards ceremony, so feel free to share your positive comments!

MAY 7, 2024 MIDNIGHT: Nominations close

MAY 14: All organizations and individuals that have been recognized through the nomination process will be announced.

MAY 21: Top three nominees that will be continuing to the voting round will be announced and finalist voting ballot will be available to all Chamber members.

Please list an organization you would like to nominate for EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUP OF THE YEAR: (This award is given to a Chamber Corporate Partner business/employee resource group that works to support and build a culture of inclusion and acceptance. Please list an organization you would like to nominate for CORPORATE PARTNER OF THE YEAR: (This award is given to a company that has shown a strong commitment to positively growing the LGBTQ+ business community. Please list an organization you would like to nominate for NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR: (This award recognizes a nonprofit member organization that is committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion through its work, actions and visible support of the community. The organization has a proven track record of success and involvement with the LGBTQ+ community and is a strong champion of the Chamber. This organization is a champion for the Chamber and is committed to building and supporting a diverse and thriving community. MUST be a member of the Chamber. Please list an organization you would like to nominate for LGBTBE® CERTIFIED BUSINESS OF THE YEAR: (This award is given to an LGBTBE® Certified Member Business that has a proven track record of success utilizing the certification. This business is committed to the Chamber’s mission to accelerate economic opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community. They serve as a strong example for other Chamber members in terms of business success and chamber involvement. MUST be a member of the Chamber. Please list an individual you would like to nominate for CHAMBER CHAMPION OF THE YEAR: (This award honors a Chamber volunteer that has demonstrated a long-term commitment to the Chamber and the LGBTQ+ community. Through the actions of advocacy, service, education or community initiatives, they have made significant and positive impact for the Chamber and the LGBTQ+ community. MUST be a member of the Chamber, or employee of an organization that is a member.)

This person has a proven track record of success and involvement and is a strong champion of the Chamber and the LGBTQ+ community. MUST be a member of the Chamber, or an employee of an organization that is a member.)
