Call for Nominations: 2021 MBA Pro Bono Publico Award Nomination

The Milwaukee Bar Association (MBA) recognizes individuals for their outstanding pro bono service and dedication to the practice of law at the State of Court event which will be held virtually this year on October 28.

 

We are seeking nominees with a demonstrated commitment to working “for the public good” in each of the following categories: 1) individual attorney 2) law firm, organization, business or association and 3) law student. The MBA believes it is important to recognize members of the legal community who generously give their time and talent in support of pro bono services.

Selection criteria include the nominee’s experience as it relates to:

- Developing innovative ways to deliver volunteer legal services or
  improve access to justice

- Participating in activities that provide legal services to the poor or
  increase access to justice

- Working on legislation that increases access to justice

Supporting documents such as a letter of recommendation or a testimonial are not required but are helpful in the selection process. Send any supporting documents to Sarah Martis at smartis@milwbar.org.
