Changing Places in the Rural City of Wangaratta

The Rural City of Wangaratta would like to develop a fully accessible Changing Places facility, and is seeking State Government funding for this project.

Changing Places facilities are larger than standard accessible toilets, and have extra features and more space to meet the needs of people with severe disabilities and their carers. Each facility has a height adjustable, adult-sized changing bench, a tracking hoist system, space for two people and a safer and cleaner environment.

A Changing Places facility meets the needs of people with severe disabilities and their carers, enabling them to be more actively involved in their local community.

Please complete this survey to help us determine whether this is a need for the Wangaratta community by Monday, 25 September 2017.
