Independent Outreach Worker - Contracted Part time/Project Based Positions       $17 per hour + mileage reimbursement. Open until filled.

As part of the Outreach team, you will perform various on-the-ground and on occasion, virtual activities connecting residents to our various initiatives, programs and services. You will be responsible for maintaining your outreach materials (which will be provided to you) and documenting your activities for accurate program reporting. You will gain a clear understanding of the programs or services offered in order to interact on behalf of ATCAA with the local community. As an Independent Outreach Worker, you may perform one or more and/or a combination of the following tasks: • Canvassing (interacting) outside of local establishments and/or door-to-door as determined; • Post or erect flyers/posters, door hangers, lawn signs, and banners as well as deliver or ship flyers and materials to local partners as needed. • Participate in virtual or in-person meetings, events or other gatherings as determined; • Provide information to the community about available programs and services; • Record outreach activities by maintaining accurate and complete logs; • Where appropriate, provide and/or arrange for community/client education; • When appropriate, take occasional photos and obtain the proper photo release authorizations.

If chosen you will be asked to attend a 1-hour orientation.
