Monday, April 21 10am- 2pm ET (or until the last runner passes)

We will be located around mid mile 14 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 309 Washington Street in Wellesley, MA. We will be setup right in front of the church. People will begin congregating at the cheering section around 10am and will stay until the final Running for Rare runner has passed, usually around 2pm. The cheering section is a great way to cheer for the runners and get to know others within our NORD Running for Rare Community.
Some important things to note:
· Please bring a folding chair if you’re not comfortable standing for long periods of time, sunscreen, sunglasses, and/or anything else you’ll need to keep comfortable during the day. The BAA shares spectator guidelines- click here to review. Due to these restrictions, we will be unable to pass out any water, Gatorade or snacks for runners. Coolers and other items will not be allowed and handbags and packages (or bulky items) larger than 12 inches x 12 inches x 6 inches will not be allowed. Spectator Rules are shared and taken very seriously. I encourage you to check the weather as we get a bit closer as we all know things can change.
· The cheering section is located just steps away from the Wellesley Hills Commuter Rail stop, so we recommend this mode of transportation. Please keep in mind that public transportation is very, very crowded on Marathon Monday, so be prepared to stand on the train.
