Business Satisfaction and Red Tape Reduction Survey

The Cape Breton Partnership, together with the five municipalities in Cape Breton (Cape Breton Regional Municipality, the Counties of Inverness, Richmond and Victoria, and the Town of Port Hawkesbury) have partnered with the Office of Regulatory Affairs and Service Effectiveness to make it easier to operate and expand businesses on Cape Breton Island.

As a business customer of one or more Cape Breton municipalities you are invited to take part in this survey which will ask questions related to your experience meeting municipal regulatory requirements. The purpose of this survey is to help the municipalities understand how and where red-tape (administrative or compliance obligations that do not add public service value and burden business with unintended costs) is impacting businesses, and to use that data to help improve regulation and customer service during the next phase of the pilot partnership.

The survey will take approximately 12 minutes to complete and you have a chance to win a terrific prize for your business. Simply fill out the survey and include your contact information at the bottom and you will be entered in a draw to win a business planning and promotion package from the Cape Breton Partnership.
Please note: Your survey responses are anonymized and all identifying comments and answers will be removed before the results are shared with the municipalities. You will be asked to provide your contact information at the end - this is optional and only for the purposes of entering to win the prize.

The lucky winner will receive:

1. A one-on-one session with our Business Planning Advisor, who will review your current business plan with you, or help you build a new one.

2. A promotion package, which includes social media promotion on our channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), a feature in our monthly Partnership Pulse e-newsletter and space on a digital billboard located in the CBRM, with 22,000 vehicles passing daily, for an entire month.
