To The Earth With Love

Exhibition Information

Deadline to submit: 7/20/2026

Show Dates: 7/22/2026–8/30/2026

Exhibition Reception: 8/2/2026, 2 pm–4 pm

The return of summer brings many feelings: Joy at the return of leaves. Hope for sunny days. And excitement during fun activities. But for many, summer can also be a time of worry. Heat waves, storms, and droughts all remind us how fragile and precious our climate is. This non-juried community exhibition asks artists to create artworks which explore the many ways in which we can care for the Earth, and how all climate activism begins from a place of love.

If interested, artists have the option to take inspiration from the following exhibitions currently on view at WAM: A Weather Eye: Art and Early Modern Meteorology (on view through 6/28/2026) and Fever Dreams of a Cool-Breathed Earth (on view through 8/16/2026).

The exhibition will be displayed in WAM's Higgins Education Wing and will be free and open to the public.
