Easter Flower Garden Share

In years past, for Easter we have decorated the Sanctuary with tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and other spring flowers. Old First members were able to make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone, and then take some Easter flowers home with them on Easter Sunday.

Since we are still virtual, we have decided to switch up this tradition slightly. We won’t be purchasing Easter flowers for the Sanctuary. Instead, we are buying summer flowers to be planted in the courtyard in May! Donations made will go toward the purchase of flats of flowers. We are considering geraniums, African daisies, lantanas, and a few others.

We encourage Old Firsters to donate in honor of / memory of anyone they wish to remember. A garden share donation is $10, and you may purchase as many as you like. That donation will go toward a garden share. And as in years past, the church office will share a list of names of those who are being honored and remembered on Easter. In order to have your loved ones included on the Easter list, please fill out the Survey Monkey form by Maundy Thursday, April 1.
