Quechee Haunted Trail & Festival
Twisted Wizard of Oz
Saturday, October 17th
4:00pm-10:00pm at the Quechee Visitor Center/Quechee State Park
Mandatory Volunteer Training - Friday, October 16th @ 6:00pm
The Hartford Parks & Recreation Department is now recruiting volunteers for this year’s Haunted Trail Festival! We are proud to be a part of this fun, family friendly and safe event and we couldn’t do it without all the right people. We are seeking responsible volunteers who are fun and easy to get along with. You must share our passion for delivering a positive and memorable experience for each patron, every time. The Haunted Trail will begin at the Quechee Visitor Center and creep through the Quechee State Park, conclude with an Egg Haunt and finish up back at the Visitor Center.
We are looking to fill the roles of:
• Trail Guides – Lead groups through the trail in a safe and sensible manner. We ask that volunteers be able to wear a dress shirt with a vest or sports jacket.
• Egg-Haunters – Help assist with hiding and re-stocking eggs and guiding/directing festival patrons through the Egg Haunt. Come dressed in costume.
• Parking Attendants
• Haunted Trail Security
The event is from 5:00pm-10:00pm. We ask, volunteers be available for the duration of the event. We request that volunteers arrive at 4:00pm for a mandatory orientation for all final preparations for the festival.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
