Introduction and Instructions

Thank you for your interest in becoming a QuakeCoRE Associate Investigator. 
 
Please read the information below before submitting your request, this form should take between two and five minutes to complete. Once your request has been submitted you will receive an email from QuakeCoRE confirming the status of your application shortly. 

Who
An established independent researcher based at a New Zealand tertiary education institute or research institution who is committed to advancing the goals of QuakeCore and contributing to the QuakeCoRE mission.

What

As a QuakeCoRE Associate Investigator you will be able to:
          o   Apply as a QuakeCoRE Project PI for project funding in the QuakeCoRE RfP    
          o   Apply as the principal supervisor for QuakeCoRE Scholarships            
          o   Apply to host a workshop in one of the workshop slots aligned to the QuakeCoRE Annual Meeting                         
          o   Apply for a travel grant to attend the QuakeCoRE Annual Meeting             
          o   Receive priority registration for the QuakeCoRE Annual Meeting                   
As a named investigator, QuakeCoRE Associate Investigators will be asked to complete the Annual Investigator report

How

Applications are due by Noon on 20th October 2017

Alternatively, stakeholders or industry practitioners that are engaged with QuakeCoRE and wish to become an Industry Affiliate can find more information here.

If you are an emerging researcher, including postdocs and students, you aren't eligible to become a QuakeCoRE Associate Investigator, but we encourage you to join your local Emerging Researcher Chapter. Further information is available here.
