Thank you for your interest in joining the Young Audiences of Houston roster.

Young Audiences teaching artists are qualified, professional artists who have been selected after a rigorous application and audition/interview process. They are selected for both the quality of their artistry and the educational content of their programs. We look for artists who demonstrate excellence in their artistic field, strong communication skills and responsibility, experience with in-school programming, a well-planned and educationally rich arts program, and a willingness to attend YAH artist information sessions.

Please attach your supporting documents and fill out our standard application below. If we feel your skills match our current needs, we will contact you at that time. New artist applications are reviewed throughout the year and all applications are kept on file. Contracts are typically issued in June. For questions or more information please contact us (713) 520-9264.
