Our Approach

Bear Granville has a unique approach to growth in that we aim to assess compatibility with prospective clients, and we rely on limited, trusted avenues for client referrals.

Evaluating the compatibility between a management company and an investor owner is a two-way process. The process entails providing basic info, asking questions, and developing an understanding each other in terms of experience, attitudes, and our respective business practices. We believe that the management company and its investor clients will have a more successful, mutually beneficial relationship if they “see alike” on basic principles and know exactly what to expect from one another prior to signing a management agreement. Our preliminary list of “FAQ’s” and our preliminary list of questions for prospective clients start this assessment process.

Equally unique is our commitment to seeking and selecting limited clients by using our network of clients, colleagues, and connections. That commitment goes as far as not accepting cold calls from potential clients asking for information including "what we charge" to manage property. Our principals and employees are active in the community and industry organizations that provide substantial avenues for growing our business. We depend on those relationships to provide us with better prospects for new business when we have capacity for new business. We share this approach, one of selectivity, because our current clients enjoy our dedication to their properties and their business.
