Recent surveys by Plan International have shown that in Ireland 50% of those who have periods have experienced financial difficulties in accessing sanitary products.  A striking 61% have missed school during their period.

The Programme for Government is committed to bringing forward legislation to provide free period products in certain settings and there is legislation coming before the Seanad, from both Government and Opposition.

I am conducting this survey to establish the extent of period poverty, product preferences, and other factors with a view to bringing this to the Oireachtas debates on this subject and to ensure you have your say in this legislation.  I really appreciate your input on this, it is designed to only take about two minutes to complete.

Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.
