Competition Rules, Details & Team Agreement:
1. For all divisions: 11-a-side outdoor football rules apply as standard practice, with the variation there is no offsides.
2. Mixed teams are required to have at least 2 females or 2 players with disabilities on the field at any one time.
3. Forfeiting a match: the competition organiser (Eleanor Beach) must be notified via email or phone (president@kssjetsfc.com.au or 0448 568 685) no later than 3:00pm the Thursday before the fixture. A forfeit awards the opposition team a standard 3-0 win (3 points).
4. Matches are made up of 2 x 20-minutes halves with a 5 minute half-time break.
5. All players are required to wear shin pads for insurance purposes.
6. A referee will be supplied for each game. No abuse (verbal, physical or otherwise) or dissent
towards the referees will be tolerated. If actions by a player are deemed abusive, the player
may receive a one match suspension. Any additional actions of abuse may result in the player
being removed from the competition and possibly banned from future 6-a-side competitions.
7. Player eligibility: any participant who are in arrears or owe financial payment to KSS Jets will not have their registration accepted. They will not be eligible to participate in the 6-a-Side competition. Any team who is found to register or field a player who owes funds, field an unregistered player, or field a player under another person’s name will result in the player and/or team being expelled from the competition with no refund.
