Liverpool City Council - Futsal Tournament - Harmony Cup 2026
Local schools are invited to register for the Harmony Schools Cup 2026, a free inter-school futsal tournament delivered as part of Harmony Cup 2026 delivered by Liverpool City Council.
Bringing together students from schools across South West Sydney, the Harmony Schools Cup provides a unique opportunity for young people to represent their school, build new friendships and connect through sport in an inclusive and supportive environment.
The tournament will be held at Michael Wenden Aquatic Leisure Centre on Wednesday, 16 September 2026 from 8.30am – 2pm and will feature up to 14 primary school teams competing in a mixed 5-a-side futsal format. The event is designed to promote teamwork, participation, respect and healthy competition among students from diverse backgrounds.
More than a sporting event, the Harmony Schools Cup forms part of Liverpool's ongoing commitment to fostering inclusion, belonging and community connection. By bringing students together through sport, the program celebrates the diversity that makes our city strong and provides young people with an opportunity to be involved in one of Liverpool's most significant comm unity initiatives.
As places are limited, registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all team places have been filled. Registrations close on Thursday 10 September 2026.
Participating schools will receive further event information following registration, including competition rules, team requirements and event day logistics.
