Thank you for sharing your expertise with the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (“ISPOR”) and for contributing to the advancement of the science of HEOR.  

Please review and sign this Speaker Agreement & Consent Form (“Agreement”) related to your role as a participant (Moderator, Speaker, Panelist, Discussion Leader, Instructor, Presenter etc.) at ISPOR Europe 2023 by Thursday, 14 September.

By signing this Agreement, and based on mutual consideration, I understand and agree to the below terms and conditions.
  • I agree to comply with all Program-related deadlines provided to me by ISPOR, including but not limited to deadlines for handouts, slides, A/V requests, etc.
  • During the Program, I will not engage in any type of promotional marketing or selling of any product or service, and I will not disparage ISPOR or any other person, product, or service in any way.
  • I agree to notify the ISPOR staff immediately in the event that an emergency should prevent me from meeting my obligation as a Program participant (Moderator, Speaker, Panelist, Discussion Leader, Instructor, Presenter, etc.)
  • I grant to ISPOR a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, , and sublicensable license to (a) use, reproduce, publish, modify, record, broadcast, and distribute my presentation (including all handouts,  digital slide presentations, and any other written or electronic materials provided by me to ISPOR in connection with the presentation) (“Presentation”), in whole or in part, in any means and through any medium,  and (b) to use my name, likeness, voice, and biographical information to use and promote the recording, broadcast, and distribution of the Presentation, for [any lawful purposes]/[ISPOR’s nonprofit educational and research purposes], with appropriate attribution to me. [I understand this grant permits ISPOR to broadcast and distribute the Presentation at the date and time identified within the invitation letter and to record and distribute the Presentation in the future.] I acknowledge and agree that this license does not change the fact that, as between me and ISPOR, I retain copyright ownership of the Presentation and am not prohibited from using the Presentation in any way or from allowing others to use it.   I acknowledge that ISPOR owns all right, title, and interest in and to all recordings in which I may be included and I waive the right to inspect or approve any recording, broadcast, or distribution of my Presentation or any use of my name, likeness, voice, or biographical data.  
  • I agree to release my Presentation for display within a virtual platform and on the ISPOR website (all slide presentations will be converted to PDF format prior to posting on the Web.)
  • I represent and warrant that my Presentation (a) does not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including, without limitation, any copyright, trademark, and privacy rights), (b) is factually accurate and contains nothing defamatory, libelous or otherwise unlawful, and (c) is my own original work and/or I have obtained all necessary permission or licenses from any persons or organizations whose material is included or used in my Presentation. (Note: Images, videos, photos, music may be subject to copyright, trademark, or other rights even if publicly available on the internet.). I represent and warrant that I have the authority to grant all rights granted by me in this Agreement and that I have full power and authority to enter into this Agreement. 
  • I agree to disclose at the start of my Presentation all material financial relationships which are relevant or may be considered relevant to any research studies, products, or services described, reviewed, evaluated, or compared in this Presentation.
  • I understand that I will not receive any royalties, honoraria, reimbursement of expenses, or other compensation from ISPOR in connection with the Program, my Presentation, or any of the rights granted above.
  • I understand that I must be registered for the Program in order to participate as an invited/accepted Program participant.
  • This Agreement is governed by New Jersey law without regard to its conflict-of-interest principles. This Agreement is executed and delivered by electronic signature.
