Notifications and Requests should be completed at least 30 days prior to the date of the event. Requests made less than 30 days prior to the event may not be able to be covered if other special events are already scheduled. NOTIFICATION ONLY - Fulfills requirement set by West Chester Borough for events within the municipality. Good Fellowship MAY send an on-duty ambulance to the area of the event, however cannot guarantee a presence for the entire duration of the event (May respond to 911 calls).

EMT - Basic level care provider. Oxygen administration, bandaging, CPR/AED trained.

Advanced EMT - All EMT skills plus- Capable of treating patient's experiencing chest pain, diabetic emergencies and respiratory emergencies.

Paramedic - All EMT and Advanced EMS skills plus - Advanced assessments, full compliment of medications, able to provider cardiac monitoring and advanced level interventions during life-threatening emergencies. 

BLS Ambulance - (2) EMTs with licensed BLS ambulance. Able to transport patients and provider care at the EMT level.

IALS Ambulance - (1) EMT & (1) Advanced EMT. Able to transport patients and provider care at the EMT or Advanced EMT level.

ALS Ambulance - (1) EMT & (1) Paramedic. Able to transport patients and provider care at the EMT or Paramedic level.

BLS Bike Team - (2) EMTs with fully equipped EMS bicycles - mobile around the event.

ALS Bike Team - (1) EMT & (1) Paramedic with fully equipped EMS bicycles - mobile around the event.


Pennsylvania Department of Health Vehicle recommendations for a Specials Event EMS Plan:
5,000-25,000 people - One staffed and licensed ambulance vehicle
25,000-55,000 people - Two staffed and licensed ambulance vehicles
>55,000 people - Three staffed and licensed ambulance vehicles
