Landscape Construction Award Entry Form guidelines

Entry deadline - August 5, 2022
Entries submitted in this category should be for a landscape installation or renovation that exemplifies quality workmanship consistent with industry best management practices, follows related specifications for the project, and satisfies client expectations in the finished product. This award will have subcategories for commercial and residential properties.

Typical entries include the construction of a new residential or commercial landscape, or the complete renovation of an existing residential or commercial landscape.
 
All current, regular ALCC member companies are eligible to enter into this category. Must be a current member with a membership expiration date of June 30, 2022 or later.
 
Entry guidelines and procedures
  • Select a project you believe merits the award for this category.
  • The project must have been completed 6 months prior to submittal. It is suggested that the project be at least 1 year old.
  • The project may be no more than 5 years old.
  • Complete the entry form on the following pages. You will be able to return to the form if you are not able to complete your entry in one sitting. Please note, you will need to use the same device in order to access your saved entry form.
  • The majority of the work done on the project (50% or more) must be completed by the company submitting this entry form. If two companies are submitting an entry jointly, they must both be ALCC members.
  • You will be asked to submit no more than 12 color photos that demonstrate the project. Your entry is not considered complete until your photos are submitted.
  • Each entry must include a signature of release. Photos become the property of ALCC. ALCC reserves the right to utilize all submitted photos for the awards program and/or other promotional and publicity purposes. ALCC accepts no responsibility for copyrights or photogenic fees.
    • Please note, if your project is selected as a finalist in this category, you will be asked to provide photo credits.
  • Your entry is not complete until you submit the entry fee of $150. Pay entry fee now (link will open in a new window).
Judging criteria
Your entry will be judged on the following:
  • Ability to meet customer goals and budget.
  • Appropriate application of installation/construction practices.
  • Solutions offered to address special or unusual problems associated with the project.
