Thanks for submitting details of your Internet of Things project to IoT Hub for consideration in the Australian IoT Awards 2018.

Answering the questions below should take no more than 10-15 minutes. We aim to balance brevity (to save you time) with the right kinds of questions to determine the strength of your project execution and technology leadership.

If you feel you'd rather take more time and fill out a form as a Word document, here's one for you to download and email to us.

Your submission will be used by the IoT Hub editorial team to qualify you as a finalist in one of the following categories:
  • Best Primary Industry IoT Project (e.g. agriculture and mining)
  • Best Secondary Industry IoT Project (e.g. Industry 4.0)
  • Best Municipal IoT Project (e.g. smart cities, utilities, energy, transport)
  • Best Healthcare and Sport IoT Project (e.g. wearables, ehealth)
  • Best Property and Retail IoT Project (e.g. building management, retail and hospitality)
  • Best IoT Product or Innovation.
Your submission will also be considered towards the overall award, the Australian IoT Project or Innovation of the Year 2018.

Submissions will be judged according to:
  • The strength of the business case for the project.
  • The project’s delivery – evidence of agility, creative applications of IT and competencies developed – all while keeping within targeted scope, deadline and cost.
  • Innovation – whether new ground was forged in terms of new technologies or approaches, and how this risk was managed.
  • Metrics such as return on investment.
