The first offering of this new course will take place in the Spring/Summer of 2018.

This course builds on the Refugee Mental Health Course, expanding to cover mental health problems and disorders in different groups of immigrants and refugees. It outlines different pathways to health and illness among various subgroups of immigrants, discusses inter-group and intra-group differences in the rates of mental disorders, addresses the role of culture and context, and provides examples of promising practices and innovative approaches to service delivery.

Course participants will also receive access to the national online Community of Practice (CoP) discussion board, toolkit of resources, monthly webinar series and other project activities.
