The Carver Elementary PTO works in conjunction with both parents and teachers to enhance and encourage the educational and social environment for the students of Carver Elementary. The PTO supports the school by raising money to fund selected classroom activities, necessary supplies, school programs, improvements and much more. All parents/ guardians are invited to the public PTO meeting June 9th at 7:00 p.m. Please take a second to vote for PTO board members so we can continue to support Carver Elementary School.

* 1. Lisa Butterworth
Board Member

Lisa Butterworth is a parent to four children. Three children will be in CES this coming year Carter (5th grade) Hazel (3rd Grade) Troy (kindergarten). Lisa served on the PTO board for two years she has helped with yearbook, book fairs, Lifetouch spring pictures, Halloween and Teacher Appreciation week.

* 2. Lynnie Alberti, 
Board Member 

Lynnie has a daughter in First grade. Lynnie has been a member of the PTO for two years, one as a Board Memeber and this year, 2020-2021 as Treasurer. She's helped with several events including school store, Pasta dinner, No Tricks Just Treats and Spring Pictures. This year she was in charge of running the Spring Book Fair. She would like to remain a member of the PTO board because she loves being involved in making our school the best place it can be for our kids. She thinks it is great to have events the kids can attend that are also open to the community. Lynnie looks forward to continuing to have the opportunity to serve on the PTO board.

* 3. Janine Charbonneau
Board Member

Janine is a parent of two children who both attend CES— an incoming fifth grader and an incoming second grader. She has served on the CES PTO board for four years— as treasurer from July 2017 to June 2019 and as secretary from July 2019 to June 2021. For the last three years she has been in charge of communicating staff purchase and reimbursement requests to the PTO board, as well as making and delivering approved purchases.

* 4. Sarah Angley O'Berry
Board Member

Sarah has two children in CES, Harper going into 5th grade and Piper going into 2nd grade. Sarah has been a PTO board member for 4 years and has helped with organizing Square 1 Art, the FunRun, Harlem Wizards basketball game and other events throughout the year.

* 5. Stephanie Pina
Board Member

Stephanie is the mother of Kristiana Giorgio in 6th grade and Antonio (AJ) Giorgio in 3rd grade in the school year 2021/2022.
She has lived in Carver since 1997 and attended Carver Schools. Stephanie is looking forward to being a team member on the PTO to help our kids in any way she can.

* 6. Jackie Dunne
Board member

Jackie Dunne has 3 children, 2 at Carver Elementary. Tristan will be in 5th grade and Wyatt will be in 2nd. Jackie was on the PTO for 3 years, taking this past year off to have her youngest child. While on the board she helped out with the book fair, spring Lifetouch pictures, teacher appreciation and various other events that the PTO organized. After this year off she is ready to join us again.

* 7. Kelly Dunphy
Board member

Kelly is the proud mom to two young boys (Parker, age 6 & Finn, age 4) and has been a resident of Carver since 2013.  Her oldest son Parker has attended Carver Elementary for Pre-K, K and will soon be in the 1st grade.  While he has been enrolled at Carver Elementary, Kelly has taken an active role in supporting PTO events as a volunteer and classroom activities/outings as a chaperone.

Kelly’s interest in serving on the PTO board stem from her personal passions and professional involvements in marketing, public affairs, communications, fundraising and philanthropic activities.  She has been actively involved on the steering committee for the parent group at her children’s daycare and has served as room parent for both classes organizing teacher appreciation activities, family celebrations and managing communication channels between the center and the families.    

As a member of the PTO board, Kelly is looking to build upon the wonderful PTO programs that exist today while connecting with and engaging more families to add new ideas and broader parent participation.
