You are invited to participate in a short survey that will aid the Mountain West AIDS Education and Training Center (MWAETC) meet the HIV-related training needs of those providing health care in correctional settings.

Given on-going uncertainty and volatility of the COVID epidemic, we will not be holding the conference that was rescheduled from March 2020 to October 2020.  We are now making alternative training plans, including the possibility of holding an in-person (infection rates permitting) or virtual meeting in March 2021, and to possibly provide supplemental virtual training that would begin this fall. Our goal for this survey is to collect your feedback on the types of training options that will work best for you.  At this point, we are considering a variety of models (in-person meeting with social distancing measures; full-day web-based conference; web-based conference spread out over multiple days or weeks; quarterly virtual meetings).

Your input is valuable as we make decisions on training opportunities for our 2020-2021 program year. Survey results will only be shared with the MWAETC HIV Care in the Correctional Setting Conference Planning Committee and will be not be individually identified.

If you have any questions regarding MWAETC training opportunities or this survey, please contact Victor Ramirez at 206-543-3319 or at vmrg1@uw.edu.
