About You

The Banyule Multicultural Advisory Committee provides Council with advice and information on Inclusion, Access and Equity, issues facing the Multicultural community and on the implementation of Council’s Multicultural Plan 2017-21.

The Multicultural advisory committee membership will consist of up to 15 community members and a minimum of 2 Councillors. Council staff will provide support and assistance to the committee.

Community members appointed to the committee will include representation from:
- Up to 10 residents from culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Up to 5 representatives from community organisations, agencies and service providers who have a focus on provision of services to multicultural communities in Banyule

Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from interested individuals and groups/ local agencies for the 2019-2020 term.  EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST CLOSE MONDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2018.
