How this Business Assessment works

This is a self-assessment tool designed to assist you in identifying core strengths of your business while also helping you identify areas where you may need some further development or assistance. It is these area of identified need that help us consider what support is best for your business. 

 

Please use the "Things we need to work on..." fields for each question as an area to list areas that need some improvement. 

This is not an exam and there is no pass or fail. It is purely a tool to help you look at the big picture of where your business is going and to help you discover a path to get there. It is to help you take time to work on your business.

You can be as brief or as lengthy in your answers as you wish or bullet point key points.

If you have any questions about the Business Assessment, need clarifications about any questions it contains or you would like to receive feedback on your responses, please contact one of the Business Assessors here at the Otago Chamber of Commerce.                    

 

Confidentiality
The Otago Chamber of Commerce will treat all information collected in this questionnaire as confidential in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. The information will be used by the Otago Chamber of Commerce to create an action plan to assist you identify and address areas of your business that need further development.

Your Record
To keep a record of this assessment you will need to print each page as you complete it. A copy of this assessment (PDF) will be emailed to the address supplied in the assessment for you records.
