Reducing Energy Costs in Southern Adelaide – an initiative of the Southern Adelaide Energy Working Group Survey.
The Southern Adelaide Energy Working Group is a collaboration of the Southern Adelaide Economic Development Board, City of Marion and City of Onkaparinga.
The rising cost of energy is consistently raised as a priority issue for local businesses, so we are investigating the opportunities to reduce the costs of energy supply for Southern Adelaide businesses. As a member of our business community we are keen to gain your input; this survey will assist us to create an energy profile of Southern Adelaide and to identify and prioritise areas of focus for future initiatives.
The Southern Adelaide Energy Working Group is creating an energy profile of Southern Adelaide to identify and prioritise areas of future initiatives that will support regional business-led development of Southern Energy Projects that:
- positions Southern Adelaide as an attractive location for business and industry
- creates jobs
- increases energy generation mix from renewable sources
- improves energy security
- reduces energy costs
- reduces the region’s reliance on the national electricity grid.

This survey will take no longer than 15 minutes to complete and your responses are confidential. Results will be aggregated into a report for the Southern Adelaide Economic Development Board and both councils.
