Data standards continue to evolve in the area of clinical data management and clinical data science, with FHIR HL7, CDISC/CDASH, and others offering some examples.
While these standards have streamlined operations for many organizations in many ways, they have also created hurdles for many academic medical centers who have historically been less reliant on them.
The SCDM Academic Committee has prepared the following survey to obtain a snapshot of practice patterns among the picture of the CDM academic institutions regarding clinical data standards.
