UCNS NO Accreditation Program Requirements Revision Comment Period July 2026

The UCNS Board of Directors has approved releasing proposed revisions to the Neuro-oncology (NO) Program Requirements for stakeholder comment. Program Requirements establish the minimum standards programs must meet to achieve accreditation. They consist of two components: Common Program Requirements, which apply to all subspecialties (bold text), and subspecialty-specific requirements (regular text). This comment period is limited to the subspecialty-specific requirements noted in regular text in the document.

Subspecialty stakeholders and the neurology community are invited to provide comments for the proposed revision to the Neuro-oncology subspecialty-specific requirements. This 30-day comment period ends Monday, August 31, 2026.
