Dear Al-Anon Friend,

As the GTA Public Outreach Committee (PO in GTA), we are collaborating on public outreach with Step 12 as our purpose and Tradition 11 as our guide.  As the al-anon.org website shares, “Public Outreach helps communicate the message of Al-Anon/Alateen to the community through outreach to professionals, to the media, to institutions, and to the general public. Goals are to attract newcomers to our fellowship and to inform professionals who work with families and friends of alcoholics about the Al-Anon/Alateen program.”

While our focus is across the eight Al-Anon Districts (D16-23) of the GTA, the committee is open to any member interested in this type of service. We invite you to fill out our survey. We are looking at prioritizing our PO activities over the coming year in carrying the Al-Anon message to others while being mindful of the costs involved. This survey is anonymous.

Our priority objectives for this survey are to determine demographics of local membership, gain insight into members' ranking of public outreach initiatives and to use your feedback to better direct PO in GTA activities.

Thank you for your valuable time and service!
