1. Introduction

Welcome Community Member,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. Your input is critical to our mission to protect and serve the Brown University community.

This survey will aid the Department of Public Safety in collecting community feedback about the most effective approaches to administering our patrol and community oriented services to Brown constituents.

Specific areas of focus in this survey include crime prevention, patrol services, programming, and overall customer service. We hope to ascertain information that will allow us to support resource allocation and continued efforts to enhance the many services we render to the community.

The safety and well being of our students, staff, faculty, alumni, and visitors is our top priority. We are committed to providing the highest level of professional police and public safety services to foster a safe learning and working environment for all.
