CLPVC Tribal Member - Internet/Technology Assistance

Clarks Point Village Council (CLPVC) was awarded the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Grant for the Clarks Point Tribal Member Technology and Broadband program. This program is for CLPVC tribal members who have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; to provide or increase access to internet and technology resources to promote communication, self-care, access to telemedicine and other opportunities that relate to health or social wellness.

$699.99 towards the purchase a technology device such as (iPad, Laptop, Computer)
$174.98 for the applicable software/antivirus.
 $1322.44 for internet service.
*All payments will be issued directly to vendor except in instances where applicant is pre-approved to purchase technology device and to request reimbursement.

If an eligible applicant doesn't need a device or software that funding will be applied towards their internet service as well). All payments will be made directly to the vendor.

*There is a different application for CLPVC tribally enrolled minors.

Application Deadline: 7/31/2022. Please note applications will not be processed until after 4/1/2022 and may take up to 30 days to be processed. Please note, the initial processing date is based on CLPVC receiving full access to the funding by that time. In the event the funding is delayed, applications will be delayed until funding is accessible.

I understand that this program is for a maximum amount of assistance of $2197.41 and that the maximum amount that can be applied towards a computer/ipad or laptop is $699.99 and the maximum of $174.98 can be applied towards reasonable software for computer usage, telemedicine, employment...etc (Microsoft office, antivirus). I understand that if I do not need a new ipad/computer and/or software then that funding will be applied towards internet in addition to the minimum of $1322.44 that will go to internet service provider for services and or equipment. I understand that the internet funding must be applied to household where I am located.

I understand that internet service provider payments will be remitted by check and may take longer than usual due to shipping.
