Hello.

My name is Doug Ragan and I am writing to you on behalf of UN-Habitat. We are working with the Fondation Botnar, and the Connected Cities Lab at the University of Melbourne to develop a programme supporting the wellbeing of young people in cities and towns globally. The goal of this survey is to better understand how you as a young person believe you can make your community, the city you live in and the world a better place. We want to know this so we are better able to support young people like you who want to make a positive change, and we have identified you as one of those change-makers.

There will be a number of questions that we will be asking you.

First, we want to know what you believe a healthy community is.

Second, we want to know what you are doing, now, to create your healthy community.

And lastly we’d like to know how you are using technology to help you are doing to help your community.

This survey is anonymous, meaning your name will not be visible publicly. There is a final page where you can leave your name if you want to be updated on the programme. We request that your parent or guardian give their permission to fill in this survey.

Thanks and good luck with the survey!
