KYAFF 2019 - Fenelon Falls Community Centre - June 8th, 2019 - Repeat Vendor Application

Kawartha Yarn & Fibre Festival 2019 will be held in Fenelon Falls in a new venue on Saturday June 8th at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre. We will have full use of the arena floor, comprizing 17,000 square feet of vendor space. This is a well-lit, spacious and fully accessible facility in the heart of the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Vendors who were with us in 2018 will be given first priority and early registration for 2019.

We're pleased to offer you the opportunity apply to be a vendor at the festival. The focus of the show is for the sale of yarn, fibre and items related to knitting, crochet, weaving and/or spinning (yarn, fibre, beads, buttons, bags, books, patterns, equipment, pottery etc). 

Area Highlights:
-A well-known tourist area with restaurants and overnight accommodation readily available
-A small number of yarn shops in the area
-Keen fibre enthusiasts
-Expanded parking availability for attendees and vendors
 
Plans Include:
-A broad selection of vendors to attract buyers
-Classes to build skills and broaden interests of shoppers
-A mini market for new/small/local suppliers
-Bagged lunches available for pre-order


Vendor Acceptance
2018 Vendors receive the first opportunity to request a spot for 2019 until June 30th, 2018. Vendors renewing for 2019 will receive their invoices by July 31, 2018, with payment due by September 1st in order to hold their space and secure preferred positioning before spaces are released to new vendors. 

Fee Payment
Upon confirmation of acceptance a contract and invoice will be emailed to you and payment will be due by cheque or bank transfer by September 1, 2018 in order to confirm your space.

Booth Space

Each booth space is 10 ft x 10 ft and comes supplied with a chair and two vendor passes. Please note that tables and table coverings are to be supplied by the vendor. Table rentals are available at additional cost, to be determined. Pipe & drape and table skirts are not provided. ($200 / Space)

Hydro Access

Hydro access is available at a cost of $20 per vendor. Vendors are able to request hydro access if required, but must bring sufficient power bars and extension cords, as these will not be provided.

Hydro use is only for powering cash registers, mobile devices, etc. Additional lighting is not necessary as this venue is incredibly well lit.
