2026 NABE Education (CBE) Scholarship Application Question Title Thank you for visiting The NABE Foundation’s scholarship application for NABE Education (CBE) Courses. Please review the eligibility requirements and application details below before proceeding.Eligibility RequirementsApplicants must meet one of the following: Be a student in a CBE University Partnership Program, or Be employed in a role that uses economic concepts and/or tools. In addition, applicants must: Hold a four-year degree from an accredited university, and Have at least one year of work experience using economic concepts or tools. Scholarship Limits Recipients may receive up to $1,700 every two years. A maximum of three (3) scholarships may be awarded per company in a two-year period. CBE Certification Requirements (if pursuing the CBE)To earn the Certified Business Economist (CBE) designation, candidates must: Be a member in good standing with NABE. Have two years of work experience in applied business economics or a related field. Hold a four-year degree from an accredited university. Complete required NABE communication and writing certificate courses (or approved equivalents). Adhere to the NABE Professional Conduct Guidelines. CBE designees must renew their certification every two years by completing 30 hours of continuing education and paying a renewal fee.Scholarship UseScholarships of up to $1,700 may be applied to eligible NABE Education (CBE) courses or the CBE exam. Funds must be used in the calendar year awarded. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the recipient, and unused funds will be forfeited.Early-Bird Registration:If you apply for a scholarship before a course’s early-bird deadline but are not selected, we will honor the early-bird rate if you choose to register.Application InstructionsPlease proceed to the next page to complete the application.
