Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2021 Women in Family Medicine Conference to be held virtually November 13, 2021. So that we may meet timelines associated with CME approval and marketing efforts, your completed presentation submission must be received no later than May 3, 2021.
SESSION ELIGIBILITY

Presentations conducted by Family Physicians and associated experts are most welcome! Interactive sessions that include open discussions, polling activities, and/or demonstrations are always well-attended and are encouraged. Submissions should include current topics of interest and new studies, technologies and/or procedures.

Suggested topics of discussion include: 
  1. Work-life balance 
  2. Advocating for yourself as a woman in the workplace 
  3. Well-being for the female family physician 
  4. Early to mid-life contract negotiations  
In compliance with the Continuing Medical Education (CME) guidelines, this presentation submission must identify a professional gap, a needs assessment, learner objectives, cited resources, and complete speaker information. For CME approval, presentations must clearly convey how the course will directly impact the patients' well being and health care.

SPEAKER RESPONSIBILITIES

It is the responsibility of the speaker to submit a session proposal in its entirety. Consideration will only be given for complete submissions. In addition, for this presentation, the speaker must:
  • provide the full name, professional title, designation/degree, brief bio, address, email, and phone number for each speaker involved in the presentation content and/or delivery.
  • provide a professional photo of all session presenters (professional head shot, high resolution, full color, .eps or jpg).
  • provide a professional gap, needs assessment, learner objectives, resources, and a 3-5 sentence description of the presentation for CME approval and marketing materials.
  • ensure content validation.
  • ensure the absence of commercial bias.
  • ensure that all necessary forms and materials are completed and submitted by the designated deadlines, including a speaker agreement, head shot/photo, conflict of interest form, a brief bio, and presentation and/or handout materials.
  • ensure that all who have collaborated with you on content are clearly identified so that we may collect a conflict of interest form from that/those individual(s).
