Tanhouse Community Flats

Tanhouse Community Enterprise Ltd [TCE], an organisation set up in 2014 to run the Tanhouse Community Centre, is working with West Lancashire Borough Council to acquire the disused block of flats adjacent to the community centre which used to serve as the Neighbourhood Housing Office. As a non-profit organisation, TCE can apply for grant funding and other investment to restore the building and return it to its original use as flats. 

TCE is looking to provide four two bedroomed shared flats for use by both young people looking for their first starter home for a limited period of time under supervision, and also two two bedroomed maisonettes for older people currently on the Borough Council’s Housing waiting list.
